IT Project Coordinator – PMO (Hybrid)

Position Overview

Support a fast-paced, multi-project IT deployment environment as a Project Coordinator working alongside Project Managers and leadership to support successful delivery of Call Center Solutions. This role is part of an Enterprise Portfolio Management Office and provides hands-on coordination across project schedules, budgets, status reporting, risks, issues, changes, communications, and project lifecycle deliverables.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates effectively, follows through on commitments, and is comfortable collaborating with both technical and business teams.

What You'll Do / Key Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with project scheduling, resource assignments, and budget management 

• Prepare project information and presentations for executives, managers, and project team members.

• Monitor, control, and communicate project progress, including cost, schedule, scope, resources, quality, and risks.

• Provide clear, timely, and accurate communications to project sponsors, project team members, and Project Managers.

• Support collaboration between technical and business teams by obtaining consensus and gaining commitment.

• Work with project team members to develop and maintain project management methodology deliverables throughout the project lifecycle, including:

  • Project Charter

  • Project Schedule

  • Project Budget

  • Communication Plan

  • Project Status Report

  • Risk and Issue Management Plans

  • Change Requests

  • Project Closedown Summary

• Help ensure projects adhere to established project management and system engineering methodologies and follow appropriate transitions through project lifecycle stages and phases.

• Facilitate and enforce the Change Management process when projects deviate from approved scope, schedule, or budget.

• Ensure Change Requests receive appropriate approval before action is taken or project information is updated.

• Create project Corrective Action Plans when necessary for projects in yellow or red status.

• Understand project benefits and the impact of change requests on benefits business cases.

• Ensure related project artifacts are updated accordingly.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with formal IT project management practices.

• Strong project coordination, communication, and follow-up skills.

• Ability to support multiple projects in a fast-paced deployment environment.

• Experience monitoring and communicating project progress across cost, schedule, scope, resources, quality, and risks.

• Experience working with project stakeholders, including project sponsors, project team members, and Project Managers.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams and support consensus and commitment.

• Experience developing and maintaining project management deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

• Experience supporting project change management, including change requests and corrective action planning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with Call Center Technologies.

• Prior experience with Call Center Support.

• Experience with the State of Clarity Project Portfolio Management Tool or comparable project portfolio management environments.
