Title: Project Coordinator
Location: Miami, FL - Onsite 5 days/week

Ekman Associates is a management consulting firm that specializes in developing business, digital, and technology strategy, delivering solutions, and addressing human resource demands.

Summary:
We are seeking a Project Coordinator responsible for working closely with the Program / Project Manager for Various projects. This role will be tasked with creating, managing, and tracking various workstreams within the projects. This person should be self-motivated; capable of organizing internal and external resources on specific IT projects. To be successful, the Project Coordinator requires understanding of project management deliverables, business, and technical aptitude, organizational and communications skills.

Key Qualifications:
  • Fluent (written / verbal) in English and Spanish
  • Project Management experience / PMP – Nice to Have
Responsibilities:
  • Work and assist the Program / Project Manager.
  • Create various project management artifacts such as meeting agendas and minutes, status updates, communicating expectations for deliverables, delegating internal tasks ensuring accuracy of project timelines, etc.
  • Develop project status to stakeholders through presentations, emails, and detailed spreadsheets.
  • Work with the Program / Project manage to manage multiple workstreams within the program.
  • Communicate timelines and expectations with clients and multiple engineering teams
  • Effectively work with the Program / Project Manager to manage project scope, schedule, and budgets, while proactively identifying risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Document/Communicate project expectations, risks, escalations across all levels of the organization
  • Work directly with project sponsor and project owner to develop budget, scope, cost-benefit analysis, and level-of-effort assessments.
  • Apply varying methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall), types, and sizes, ensuring objectives and project deliverables are accomplished according to plan.
Qualifications:
  • B.S./B.A. degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, etc.
  • Consistent attention to detail with a strong sense of urgency
  • Excellent verbal, written, communications skills and interpersonal skills.
  • 2+ years of technical/PM work experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, OneNote, and Visio
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, OneNote)
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
  • Results-oriented with initiative to work until job is complete
