Key Responsibilities

As a Project Engineer, you will support the Project Manager in delivering complex, ground-up projects while maintaining strong coordination with field teams and subcontractors.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting with full project lifecycle execution from preconstruction through closeout
  • Supporting buyout and subcontract administration
  • Managing RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Tracking budgets, costs, and financial controls
  • Generating schedules and supporting contract documentation
  • Coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders
  • Attending and documenting meetings, ensuring effective communication throughout the project

Profile

The Successful Applicant

For the Project Engineer role we are seeking:
  • 1+ years of experience with a General Contractor (required)
  • Background in multifamily or commercial construction
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • Ability to thrive in lean, fast-paced environments
  • Strong ownership mindset and minimal need for oversight
  • Solid understanding of RFIs, submittals, cost controls, and schedule management
  • Consistent stability and growth in previous roles
