Project Engineer / Project Manager (Construction) We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer/Manager to lead construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for daily project execution, subcontractor and owner communication, schedule and budget control, and overall project performance related to cost, quality, safety, and timeline. Key Responsibilities Manage all phases of construction: preconstruction, estimating, bidding, scheduling, contract administration, construction, and closeout Serve as primary liaison with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal leadership Develop and maintain master project schedules and detailed budgets; analyze cost reports and forecasts Lead buyout, subcontract preparation, change management, risk evaluation, and contract negotiations Oversee QA/QC, safety enforcement, insurance, labor compliance, and ethics requirements Coordinate RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, as-builts, punch lists, and closeout documentation Partner with accounting on pay applications and cash flow Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of construction project management experience (industrial preferred) Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, estimating, cost control, and scheduling Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Office OSHA 30 required; PMP or CCM preferred Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills GPA prides itself on providing quality, personalized services to its clients and candidates.
