Project Manager
My client is an award winning general contractor specializing in Historic preservation, institutional, Advanced Science, Defense/Government, campus improvements, renovations with a minimum project size of $10 million, ideally $40-$70 million.
Job Description
Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of construction projects to ensure timely and on-budget delivery. Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively to meet client expectations. Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met. Monitor progress and address any issues or delays proactively to keep projects on track. Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulations throughout all project phases. Prepare and present project updates and reports to stakeholders and leadership. Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors and subcontractors. Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance project efficiency and quality.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Project Manager should have: Experience with managing construction projects, including planning, execution, and delivery. Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively coordinate teams and stakeholders. Knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and building codes. Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources efficiently. Proficiency in project management tools and software to streamline workflows. Problem-solving skills to address project challenges and implement solutions.
