Key Responsibilities for the Property Accountant

• 
  
• Prepare monthly financial statements and property-level reporting packages.
• 
  
• Manage general ledger accounting, bank reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
• 
  
• Review and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and tenant-related transactions.
• 
  
• Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for assigned properties.
• 
  
• Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with company policies, reporting requirements, and internal controls.
• 
  

Qualifications for the Property Accountant

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 
  
• 3+ years of accounting experience, with property accounting or real estate experience strongly preferred.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
