Provider Support Agent(s)

Eastern North Carolina employer is seeking work from home FULL-TIME Provider Support Agent(s) to join an already established team!  

$16.00/hour - CONTRACT ONLY

This non-clinical position provides administrative support in high volume to network providers, staff, community stakeholders, state and local entities, and/or other managed care organizations The position’s primary responsibility is to answer inbound calls and provide support to network providers with accuracy and promptness and provide effective and efficient customer service. This support can vary in forms such as, but not limited to, telephonic support and/or electronic mail (email) through a designated provider support line.

These calls may be demanding, the interactions may be emotionally charged, and it is important to be able to stay calm and professional.  The Provider Agent is often the first interaction and must respond to the caller’s needs in a professional service-oriented manner while maintaining a high level of customer/client satisfaction.

Documentation is a must in this role - every call and conversation will be documented. 

• Prior experience in a call center setting is required, a medical, social services, behavioral health background is highly preferred.
• This position is temporary and will work an 8-hour shift between Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Working holidays may be a requirement – to be determined.
• Position is currently remote, and the person MUST have a work environment that is free from interruptions.
• Contract need, lasting until approximately Spring 2027.
• Camera use will be required during training and on an as needed basis after the training period.
