Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Position Summary
Join a highly respected regional healthcare organization as a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse, providing specialized care for patients requiring close monitoring following critical illness, cardiac procedures, and complex medical or surgical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
Provide specialized nursing care for PCU and stepdown patients
Monitor patients with complex cardiac, medical, and surgical conditions
Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition
Manage advanced lines, drains, monitoring equipment, and IV therapies
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
Coordinate patient care from admission through discharge
Precept and support nursing staff when needed
Maintain accurate documentation and promote patient safety
Qualifications
Required
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required; BSN preferred)
Active Montana RN license (or eligibility)
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (or obtain within six months)
Recent ICU, PCU, or advanced Medical/Surgical nursing experience
Cardiac telemetry and EKG interpretation skills
Preferred
Pediatric nursing experience
TNCC and ENPC certifications
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $95,000–$105,000 annually
