Position Summary
This part-time instructional position has responsibility for planning, preparation, and presentation of quality instruction and for contributing to the fulfillment of the College's mission.
In most cases, part-time instructors will receive $700.00 per credit hour.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Provides instruction in the appropriate teaching environment and evaluates student learning.
2. Responsible for class preparation.
3. May participate in curriculum development and evaluation.
4. Performs department/program responsibilities as assigned.
5. Performs institutional responsibilities which contribute to the fulfillment of the Colleges mission.
6. Follows institutional policies and procedures and fulfills the terms of ones employment.
Qualifications

Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline
Current knowledge in one's area(s) of interest

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

1. Current knowledge in one?s area(s) of responsibility.
2. A commitment to teaching and helping students develop an abiding interest in their field and desire to help the College maintain the standards appropriate to an institution of higher education.
3. Ability to maintain rapport with colleagues and students and to conduct one's self with a high level of professionalism.
