We are looking for a Public Works Analyst / Administrative Support that has 3+ years of experience in records management or document control to work on-site and full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) in the Anaheim area.
As a Public Works Analyst / Administrative Support, your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Review and assess the department's electronic filing system.
- Identify duplicate, outdated, or misfiled documents.
- Organize files into a clear, user-friendly folder structure.
- Create consistent file and folder naming standards.
- Sort, rename, and relocate electronic documents.
- Develop procedures for organizing new files.
- Work with staff to understand document workflows and storage needs.
- Ensure important records are properly organized and easy to retrieve.
- Prepare simple documentation for the new filing system.
- Assist staff with implementing and maintaining the new structure.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive City information.
- Provide general administrative and project support as needed.
