The Animal Care Technician is primarily responsible for the execution of approved protocols for animal studies in a safe, accurate and timely fashion.
In this role, you will conduct research trials by collecting data that includes animal weights, feed information and various types of sample information.
You will also be responsible for providing standard animal husbandry and housekeeping duties.

Manage daily operations to ensure protocol requirements are carried out correctly.
Maintain cleanliness of the animal environment, which includes making all necessary resources available for the proper treatment of animals.
Identify and communicate health issues and problems for research.
Monitor the condition of animals; evaluate sick or injured animals and collect and record relevant data.
Follow implemented medical care and treatment plans for animals.
Handle moderately complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under general supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.
