• Pay Rate: $55.84 $59.84 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: 12-Hour Nights; Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday; 16:45 05:15

Job Summary

This is a CT Tech travel/contract position located in the emergency department, working on a Siemens Force scanner performing routine ED patients, Code Stroke, and trauma patients in a very fast-paced environment. On first shift, there are typically 4 5 techs; second shift (after 5 PM) typically 2 3 techs; third shift has 1 tech; weekends have 2 techs. Typical caseload for one tech in an 8-hour shift is anywhere from 8 12 patients. The unit serves patients across the full age spectrum: Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures including: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, and Multiplanar Reconstruction
• Operate Siemens Force scanner (S3000 and Sequoia models) as primary imaging equipment
• Manage a daily caseload of 150 200 scans across 4 rooms
• Perform imaging for routine ED patients, Code Stroke patients, and trauma patients
• Apply Trauma and Code Stroke experience in a fast-paced emergency department setting
• Utilize EPIC and Visage unit systems for documentation and imaging workflow

Required Skills

• Siemens Force scanner experience is REQUIRED do not submit candidates without Siemens Force experience

• Adult ICU experience
• Proficiency with Siemens scanners (Siemens Force; S3000 and Sequoia models)
• Ability to manage high-volume caseload (150 200 scans/day across 4 rooms) in a fast-paced ED environment

Education Requirements

• BLS certification required
• ARRT(R)(CT) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Unit will accept first-time travelers

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience required
• Experience with CT procedures: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, and Multiplanar Reconstruction
• Inpatient, ER, and Adult ICU experience required

Important Notes

• RTO (Return to Origin) after booking is not allowed and may not be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on unit could result in a contract cancellation and DNR (Do Not Rehire).
• The expected start date is based on the facility's schedule but is subject to change depending on class and trainer availability. Travelers may start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week and must be fully available with no other commitments to accommodate any schedule changes. Missing any portion of orientation may result in a delayed or canceled start.
• The facility will confirm the final start date on the Tuesday prior to the start week.
• Please provide candidate interview availability for the next 72 hours when submitting. The manager will not make an offer without first speaking to or interviewing the candidate.
• Locals accepted; local rate difference may apply.
