Get to Know Your Team: 

  • UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 432 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.
Responsibilities:

Performs radiology procedures for all ages (neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric) by utilizing ionizing radiation and/or other imaging modalities in order to aid in the diagnoses and treatment of disease. Subject to overtime and call back as required by hospital.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate's degree in radiologic technology from an accredited college.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
  • TMB Licensed within 60 days of hire.
  • ARRT Registered.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • One-year experience.
  • Knowledge and ability to operate all radiology/imaging equipment and perform all radiology/imaging/therapeutic procedure.
