Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Performs all procedures relevant to breast imaging. </li><li>A comprehensive approach to breast health is utilized in accordance with departmental policy at the three sites of service. These include the Breast Care Center, off-site screening mammography service, and the mobile mammography van.</li><li>Participates in required technical and program continuous quality improvement activities and demonstrates exceptional patient service skills.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<div>Job Requirements: </div><div><ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>Graduate of an AMA approved Radiology program</li><li>Currently ARRT – R and Texas Department of Health Registered</li><li>BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.</li></ul>Preferred Job Requirements: </div><ul><li>Preferred mobile mammography experience</li><li>Certified in Mammography, ARRT – M registered preferred</li></ul>

The Radiologic Technologist at Hospitality Health ER cares for all patients including neonates, infants, children, adults, and geriatrics. The Radiologic Technologist will strive to provide proficient, competent care while maintaining the patient's sense of comfort and dignity.Responsibilities for the Radiologic Technologist1.  Operating radiologic equipment to produce radiographs (X- rays) of body for diagnostic purposes, as directed by Radiologist.2.  Positions patients on the exam table appropriately and adjusts immobilization devices to obtain optimum views of specified area of body requested by physician.3.  Moves x-ray equipment into specified position and adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors, such as time and distance, based on knowledge of radiographic exposure techniques and protocols.4.  Practices radiation protection techniques, using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding skills, and knowledge of applicable exposure factors, to minimize radiation to patient and staff.5.  Shows knowledge of job when collaborating with physician, nurses, patients, and families.6.  Communicating effectively with co-workers, patients, and families.7.      Maintaining professionalism in job performance and practice.8.      Adhering to the guiding principle and policies set forth by Hospitality Health Emergency Room.9.  Completing the ER/Radiology tech skill check off, showing competency in skill necessary to assist the nurse and physician.10.   Lab - shows knowledge and competency in lab duties:<ul><li>Perform laboratory patient testing and reporting as assigned by the Laboratory Director.</li><li>Perform laboratory tests as described in the Laboratory Procedure Manual.</li><li>Maintain a current Procedure Manual.</li><li>Collect appropriate specimens from patients.</li><li>Checks two patient identifiers prior to collection and labeling.</li><li>Labels specimens are at the patient's bedside.</li><li>Prepare or instruct patients for specimen collection in age-appropriate dialog.</li><li>Prepare specimens to be sent out to a reference laboratory.</li><li>Follow all laboratory safety policies and procedures.</li><li>Run controls and document as described in the QC Policy.</li><li>Calibrate all laboratory instruments, where applicable, as described in the laboratory Policy and Procedures Manual.</li><li>Maintain all laboratory instruments as indicated by the manufacturers. Looking for a Radiology SPECIALTY Tech-PRN Exhibit competent age specific skills in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individual patient needs before and during X-ray procedure.  Limited to medium C-Arm knowledge.  Associate degree in Radiologic Technology with ARRT in Radiology and licensed with the State of Texas.  Current CPR certification.  AT LEAST 1 YEAR OF SURGICAL X-RAY TECH EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.   Required Skills - Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology. - AART Registered and CPR Current. - Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and Joint Commission Regulations. - Must possess independent decision making skills. - Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects. - Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families. - Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional way.
