ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my agency in 2014 and currently lead a team of four. My background includes both financial services and military service. I previously owned a brokerage business before transitioning into the pharmaceutical industry and eventually returning to financial services with State Farm. I started with State Farm as an intern before ultimately opening an agency of my own.
I’m a graduate of the University of Houston and its ROTC program and spent the first 10 years of my career on active duty, including flying helicopters and participating in rescue missions. Service continues to be an important part of my life.
I’m involved with the Civil Air Patrol and its cadet program, the American Legion, and Texas Boys State, where I help educate young people about how our government works. I’m also passionate about supporting veterans. Our agency gives back through the Angel Tree Program and supports organizations including the Salvation Army and Rise Recovery.
Our agency offers a Simple IRA, licensing reimbursement, and a strong commitment to work-life balance. We want our team members to have the opportunity to build successful careers while maintaining balance outside of the office.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Charles Laubach - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
- Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
- Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
- Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
- Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred.
