Recruiting Coordinator

Overview:

POSITION SUMMARY

United Refrigeration Inc. seeks an organized, proactive Recruiting Coordinator to support hiring across multiple U.S. locations. This position combines hands-on candidate sourcing and screening with interview coordination, applicant tracking, and pre-employment support. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and delivers a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Recruitment: Post and maintain openings on company career pages and job boards; source candidates, review resumes, and conduct initial phone screenings.
• Candidate pipeline: Identify and recommend qualified applicants for warehouse, delivery driver, counter sales, customer service, and other assigned roles.
• Interview coordination: Schedule phone, virtual; manage confirmations, changes, candidate updates, and follow-ups.
• ATS and administration: Maintain accurate candidate and requisition records in iCIMS; track recruiting activity, prepare reports, and support job posting updates.
• Team collaboration: Communicate with hiring managers, assist with job fairs and recruiting projects, and support continuous process improvements.
• Reports: Maintain current list of open positions and approved positions by location.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1–3 years of experience in recruiting, staffing, HR, or recruitment coordination preferred; experience screening candidates is highly valued.
• Strong communication, organization, follow-through, discretion, and ability to prioritize multiple openings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word; familiarity with ATS platforms and online job boards.
• Preferred: iCIMS, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, multi-location hiring, or recruiting in distribution, logistics, transportation, or customer service.
