Regional Manager

 

Hightop Hospitality is seeking an experienced Regional Manager to lead multiple casual dining restaurant locations throughout the Upper Midwest. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven multi-unit restaurant leader who is passionate about developing teams, driving sales growth, improving operational excellence, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

 

The Regional Manager partners closely with General Managers to achieve sales, profitability, and operational goals while maintaining brand standards and building high-performing leadership teams. This role requires frequent travel between restaurant locations and the ability to lead with accountability, coaching, and a hands-on approach.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support multiple restaurant locations to achieve sales, profitability, and operational goals.
  • Conduct regular restaurant visits to ensure excellence in food quality, service, cleanliness, safety, and brand standards.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop General Managers and management teams to improve performance and build future leaders.
  • Analyze sales, labor, food cost, inventory, and other key performance metrics to identify opportunities and implement action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, food safety standards, and financial controls.
  • Perform routine operational audits and support the successful implementation of company programs, systems, and initiatives.
  • Promote an outstanding guest experience and maintain high standards of hospitality across all locations.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of restaurant General Manager experience in a high-volume casual dining environment.
  • 2+ years of multi-unit leadership experience as a Regional Manager, District Manager, Area Director, or similar leadership role preferred.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, financial reporting, and P&L management.
  • Proven success improving sales, profitability, labor management, food cost, inventory control, and overall restaurant performance.
  • Experience developing General Managers and building high-performing leadership teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • ServSafe Certification preferred.
  • Ability to travel regularly between assigned restaurant locations.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
