The Regional Director of Sales is responsible for the strategic leadership, growth, and performance of the sales function across an assigned region. This role drives market expansion, referral development, and revenue growth through the execution of targeted sales strategies and the development of high-performing teams.The Regional Director partners closely with pharmacy operations, clinical leadership, and executive stakeholders to align sales initiatives with operational capabilities and organizational priorities. This leader ensures consistent execution of Amerita's value proposition while fostering strong relationships with referral sources, health systems, and key partners to support long-term growth and patient access.We Offer:Medical, Dental & Vision Benefits plus, HSA & FSA Savings AccountsSupplemental Coverage – Accident, Critical Illness and Hospital Indemnity InsuranceCompany paid Life and AD&D Insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term DisabilityResponsibilities:Develops and executes a comprehensive regional sales strategy to achieve revenue, growth, and market share objectivesIdentifies and pursues new business opportunities, including health systems, physician groups, and strategic partnershipsAnalyzes market trends, competitive activity, and referral patterns to inform strategic directionSupports integration and growth initiatives related to new locations, services, or acquisitionsAnalyzes market trends using data and technologyEstablishes clear performance expectations, KPIs, and accountability measures across the regionMonitors sales performance and pipeline activity; implement action plans to address gaps and drive resultsEnsures consistent execution of sales processes, CRM utilization, and reporting standardsDrives disciplined pipeline management and forecasting accuracyLeads, mentors, and develops a team of sales leaders and account executivesRecruits, onboards, and retains top sales talent within the regionConducts regular coaching, performance reviews, and development planningFosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementBuilds and maintains executive-level relationships with key referral sources, health systems, and strategic partnersRepresents Amerita in the market to strengthen brand presence and referral alignmentCollaborates with marketing to support campaigns, events, and market positioningPartners with pharmacy operations, nursing, and clinical teams to align sales growth with operational capacityCollaborates with executive leadership to ensure alignment with organizational prioritiesSupports communication and coordination across departments to enhance customer experienceEnsures adherence to all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and applicable healthcare regulationsMaintains compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standardsPromotes a culture of integrity and accountability across the sales organizationProvides direct leadership to regional sales managers and/or senior account executivesResponsible for hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management of team membersConducts regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and development planningQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or related field required; Master's degree preferred8–12 years of progressive healthcare sales experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership roleExperience in infusion therapy, specialty pharmacy, or home health strongly preferredDemonstrated success in driving revenue growth and leading multi-site or regional sales teamsStrong understanding of healthcare reimbursement, payer dynamics, and referral networksProven ability to lead and scale high-performing sales teams in a complex healthcare environmentStrong strategic thinking and business acumen with the ability to translate strategy into executionExcellent interpersonal, communication, and executive presenceAdvanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insightsStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesProficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office SuitePercentage of Travel: 75%+Driving Position: NoTo perform this role will require frequently sitting, and typing on a keyboard with fingers, and occasionally standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing (stairs/ladders), kneeling, crouching, and stooping.
