Position Overview Magnolia Dental is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient education, preventative care, and building long-lasting relationships with patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
  • Assess patients' oral health and collaborate with the dentist to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Take and review dental X-rays to assist in diagnosing oral health conditions.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventative care, and the importance of maintaining a healthy smile.
  • Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
  • Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in dental management software.
  • Provide a positive and comfortable experience for every patient while maintaining professionalism and compassion.

Qualifications

  • Current Dental Hygiene License in the state of Ohio.
  • Certification in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide preferred.
  • Proficiency in taking and interpreting digital X-rays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate and engage with patients.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Experience with dental software and modern technologies is a plus.
