• Pay Rate: $63.20 $67.20 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night Shift, 3 12 Hours (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)

Job Summary

This is a Float Pool ICU travel nursing position at an Acute Care Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. The clinician may be floated to different ICU floors or floated down up to 100% of shifts, including to a telemetry floor at lower acuity. The position may also require floating to Mission Laguna. This is a 1st-timer eligible assignment offered through Aya Healthcare MSP.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide ICU-level nursing care with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Float to different ICU floors or be floated down to lower-acuity units, including the Tele floor, up to 100% of shifts
• Float to Mission Laguna as required
• Work a minimum of every other weekend; weekends may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs
• Work 3 out of 5 major holidays as required
• Complete all orientation hours (all orientation is billable for preferred profiles)

Required Skills

• Minimum 1 year of ICU RN experience required
• Ability and willingness to float to different ICU floors and lower-acuity units (including Tele floor)
• Flexibility to meet unit scheduling needs including increased weekend assignments
• Open to accommodating block schedule per manager discretion
• Charting proficiency: Epic
• RTO must be included at time of submission

Education Requirements

• Active RN License required (pending license not accepted)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required
• BCLS (Basic Cardiovascular Life Support) required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required

• Scrub Color: Royal Blue (RN); OR scrubs provided
• Parking: Free
• On-call: Not required
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period

• THIS IS A FLOAT POSITION clinician may be floated to different ICU floors or floated down up to 100% of shifts, including to lower-acuity units such as the Tele floor
• MAY BE REQUIRED TO FLOAT TO MISSION LAGUNA
• Weekends will likely exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs
• Must be open to working 3 out of 5 major holidays
• Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered
• Local radius is 50 miles please reach out to Account Manager for local rate
• RTO must be included at time of submission
