Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Stepdown / Telemetry
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts
Schedule Requirement: Weekend & Holiday Rotation Required
Job Highlights
- Provide nursing care in a high-acuity Stepdown / Telemetry unit
- Care for patients with cardiac, stroke, and complex medical conditions
- Monitor continuous cardiac telemetry and patient status changes
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products safely
- Perform patient assessments, neurological checks, and documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent Stepdown or Telemetry RN experience
- Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License
- Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required
- BLS Certification – American Heart Association
- ACLS Certification – American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification preferred
- Previous experience in cardiac or stroke stepdown units preferred
- Charge RN or Preceptor experience preferred
