Residential Construction Superintendent

A leading residential construction company is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day field operations of high-quality residential projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction professional who takes pride in delivering projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

The Superintendent will lead subcontractors, coordinate schedules, maintain quality control, and ensure projects move efficiently from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily field operations for residential construction projects
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
• Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met
• Conduct regular site inspections and maintain quality-control standards
• Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with building codes and safety requirements
• Review plans, specifications, and project documents
• Identify and resolve construction issues quickly and effectively
• Track materials, deliveries, and jobsite progress
• Communicate regularly with Project Managers, homeowners, architects, and subcontractors
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional jobsite
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within established budgets

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential construction experience
• Previous experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, scheduling, and sequencing
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
• Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations
• Ability to maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail
