Restaurant Director

Front of House or Kitchen

Full-time · $20-$26 per hour · Typically 40-45 hours per week

This isn't an Assistant Manager job with a bigger title.

We're looking for experienced people leaders who take initiative, develop others, and follow through. We're hiring for both Front of House and Kitchen leadership opportunities, with an assigned home restaurant in Pompano Beach or Deerfield Beach.

What you'll own

This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll work alongside your Team while taking responsibility for your assigned area's people, standards, and results.

• Lead daily operations with attention to hospitality, food quality, accuracy, cleanliness, and food safety.
• Develop Team Leaders through clear expectations, coaching, recognition, and accountability.
• Identify recurring problems, implement improvements, and follow through.
• Use performance results to improve Guest satisfaction, labor, food cost, food safety, and secret shopper scores.
• Partner with other Directors to keep the whole restaurant aligned.

On a typical shift, you'll:

• Own the part of the day you're leading, from start to finish
• Make sure every checklist is done before you leave
• Manage breaks, especially for Team Members under 18
• Check out every Team Member before they leave
• Coach and recognize your Team Leaders every week

You'll be supported and held accountable by our executive leadership team. Your specific responsibilities and reporting relationship will be discussed during the interview process.

You follow through without being chased. You bring observations and possible solutions, and you communicate clearly with other leaders.

You can lead through a busy shift, have an honest performance conversation, and help someone become more capable. You receive feedback, apply it, and speak up when you see an opportunity to improve. If you tell us you're developing people, we'll ask what that looked like this week.

Previous experience leading people is required. Restaurant experience is welcome but not required. We can teach you our restaurant systems.

Schedule

You'll work a mix of opening, daytime, and closing shifts, including Saturdays. Your schedule will reflect where your leadership is needed most. Some seasons may call for additional hours or more evening and Saturday shifts.

Our Team generally works between 5:30 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., Monday-Saturday. We're closed Sundays.
