We’re a second-generation, family-owned hospitality group that has been building businesses in Hampton Roads since 1983. We’re hiring an Operating Partner to lead our Super Chix restaurant in Chesapeake. You’ll own the results — the people, the P&L, the guests, and the community — and when the restaurant beats its plan, you share in the profit. No ceiling.


Reports to: Director of Restaurant Operations & Catering


Schedule: 50+ hours, including weekends and peak periods


What You’ll Do
Lead People

• Hire, train, and develop a team people want to work for — and shift leaders who can run the restaurant without you.
• Set the culture: clear standards, real accountability, recognition that means something.
• Own scheduling, retention, and team development.

Own the P&L

• Drive sales and manage prime cost (food + labor) weekly using our tracking tools.
• Control inventory, ordering, waste, and cash handling.
• Make the calls that move profit — because a share of it is yours.

Deliver an Incredible Guest Experience

• Hot, fresh, accurate, fast — drive-thru, dining room, and catering.
• Meet Super Chix brand standards and ace every health inspection.
• Turn guest feedback into fixes within days.

Build the Business Locally

• Be the face of Super Chix in Chesapeake — schools, teams, churches, and local businesses.
• Grow catering and off-premise sales.
• Run local marketing that turns first-time guests into regulars.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of Quick Service Restaurant or fast-casual management experience, including 1+ year as a General Manager accountable for a restaurant Profit & Loss.
• A track record of developing leaders — tell us who you’ve promoted.
• An owner’s mindset: you solve problems instead of escalating them.
• High emotional intelligence — you know when to coach, correct, or celebrate.
• Fluency with food cost, labor %, and controllable profit.
• ServSafe Manager certification, or the ability to earn it within 30 days.
• Ability to stand for extended shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.

What’s In It For You

• Base salary: $58,000–$66,000, depending on experience.
• Quarterly bonus: up to 20% of base, tied to sales, prime cost, and catering results you control.
• Uncapped Profit Sharing: Share directly in the restaurant’s success with an annual cash incentive equal to 10% of profit generated above the annual plan, with no earnings cap.
• Incentives start with the January 2027 plan year.
• Ownership-level decision-making: you run your restaurant within brand standards, backed by a Director of Restaurant Operations who is there to help you win.
• A family company, not a corporation: you’ll know the owners, and your results will be seen.

Skills/Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred
• Must have food service experience
• Minimum of three years in Quick Service Restaurant environment in a supervisory position
• Must possess basic math skills
• Must have basic computer skills, fundamentals, and be proficient in Word & Excel
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to motivate team members and to treat staff with respect
• Must read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations
• Must be able to satisfy ServSafe certification
• Valid driver’s license and car
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• Passion and commitment to guest service
• Desire to train, lead, and motivate our team members
• Ability to demonstrate a sense of urgency

Working Conditions
 This position requires the ability to perform the basic functions of the job

• Must be able to work 50-60 hrs per week
• Full use of hands (lifting, carrying, grasping, pushing, pulling
• Standing, bending and walking for extended periods of time
• Lifting up 10 lbs frequently, 30 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs sporadically
