CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a Lead Retail Designer for a client in the Fort Worth, TX area. This role is responsible for creating innovative retail environments, developing design concepts, and partnering with clients throughout the design process while collaborating with branding, technical, and construction teams. Develop creative interior and exterior retail design concepts that align with client goals and brand identity.
Meet directly with clients to gather project requirements, present design concepts, and guide design decisions.
Create space plans, finish selections, lighting concepts, fixture layouts, and design presentations.
Produce construction documentation, detailing, specifications, and design packages for project execution.
Partner with branding, technical, and construction teams to deliver cohesive customer experiences.
Review architectural drawings and design plans for functionality, constructability, and design intent.
Source materials, finishes, and products while balancing design vision, budget, and project requirements.
Manage multiple projects, schedules, approvals, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
Stay current on retail, hospitality, and commercial design trends to bring fresh ideas to every project.
Mentor junior designers and contribute to a collaborative creative culture.
5+ years of experience in retail design, commercial interior design, architecture, or a related field.
Experience designing retail, hospitality, restaurant, franchise, or branded commercial environments.
Proficiency with SketchUp, Enscape, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience creating construction documents, design detailing, and presentation materials.
Strong understanding of space planning, finish selection, lighting, and retail design principles.
Excellent client presentation, communication, and project management skills.
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
