RN – Labor & Delivery (Contract)

Location: California 95422
Pay: $2,716 – $3,040

Schedule

• Night Shift (Primarily)

• 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM

• 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hours) or 4 x 12-hour shifts (48 hours)

• Occasional Day Shift coverage as needed

• Every other weekend required

• No call, no floating

Position Summary & Responsibilities

• Provide care for L&D, postpartum patients, and newborns (up to 28 days)

• Manage labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care

• Administer medications, IVs, and monitor fetal/maternal status

• Respond to emergencies and collaborate with interdisciplinary team

• Educate patients and families; maintain accurate documentation

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Graduate of accredited nursing program (Required)

• 3–4 years recent L&D experience (Required)

• Postpartum and nursery experience (Required)

Licenses & Certifications

• Active California RN License (Required)

• BLS (Required)

• NRP (Required)

• ACLS & STABLE (Preferred)

• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring (within 6 months)

• Scrubs: Wine color

Additional Requirements

• Strong labor and postpartum experience required

• Ability to handle emergency situations effectively

• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and perform physical nursing duties
