Pay Range: $60 to $66/hr.

Job Type: Contract
Shift: Days
Schedule: (3) 12 hour Days: 7am-7:30pm, (1) 12 hour weekend shift every 5 weeks, (1) 12 hour call shift every 8 weeks

Job Description:

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
40% of volume is ortho. Responsible for patient prep, room ready, opening supplies, charting.

Required:

Minimum Experience: 2 years
Must have: Operating Room experience.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
BLS

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
