The Nurse Assistant in the Med Surg/Telemetry Department is an unlicensed non-certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

p>The Certified home health aide/Certified Nursing Assistant is a paraprofessional member of the home health care team who works under the supervision of a registered nurse or therapist and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the patient’s needs. The qualified candidate preferably has at least one year of working at a Medicare Certified skilled home healthcare agency; to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patient's homes in accordance with an established care plan.
