What Youll Do:
As an OR Registered Nurse, you will provide expert preoperative and postoperative care to surgical patients, ensuring optimal outcomes and a smooth surgical experience. Collaborate with a talented team of healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment that values professionalism, compassion, and clinical excellence.
Required Skills:
- Valid RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact) with BLS certification
- Excellent communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to utilize clinical technology effectively
- Critical thinking and decisive decision-making in emergencies
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting with exceptional time management skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Epic electronic health records system
- Prior OR or surgical nursing experience
- Additional certifications relevant to perioperative care
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience, including clinical rotations during nursing school
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to obtain additional certifications if needed
- On-call availability with 30-minute callback requirement; rotation basis
- Candidates must be willing to work 3-12 day shifts, primarily days
- Travel or licensure reimbursement where applicable
