S4 HANA Release Manager - 3647340

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their S4 HANA Release Manager position! This is a 12+ month contract and will be remote in United States.

This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Manage end-to-end SAP S/4HANA release cycles across both project (N+1) and support landscapes
• Coordinate code deployments and transport activities across multiple Agile Release Trains using the Charm system
• Maintain unified release calendar ensuring conflict-free transport sequencing and deployment windows across dual landscapes
• Lead change movements between environments and manage retrofit activities bidirectionally during active implementation phases
• Review and analyze transport logs to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure successful code movement
• Collaborate with BASIS, QA, Development, and Functional teams to plan cutovers, code freezes, and dual-track deployments
• Drive consistency and quality standards across DEV, QA, Pre-PRD, PRD, and sandbox environments
• Lead release readiness reviews, manage defect triage, and develop rollback plans with full transparency to leadership
• Act as central liaison between technical teams, functional teams, and business users to clarify change ownership
• Coordinate bulk transport activities at PI boundaries, including weekend work during critical deployment windows (1x every 3 months)

What You'll Need to Have:

• 7+ years of SAP release management experience with at least 2 full-cycle S/4HANA implementation programs
• Hands-on experience managing transports across dual landscapes with parallel development streams during active implementations
• Deep proficiency with SAP Transport Management System (TMS) and cutover planning across complex landscape architectures
• CRITICAL: Proven retrofit experience managing bidirectional change movements between systems in dual landscape scenarios
• Strong technical troubleshooting ability to read, interpret, and resolve transport log issues
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM), JIRA, and other ALM tools for release tracking and governance
• Familiarity with Agile/SAFe delivery models and coordination across multiple scrum teams and ARTs
• Excellent stakeholder management skills to drive cross-functional alignment and handle escalations with senior leadership

Pay Range: $70-75/hr
