Seeking an experienced Sales Analyst with a background in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) to support sales reporting, category management, and business performance analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel and Access skills, experience analyzing retail sales data, and the ability to provide actionable insights to Sales, Marketing, Finance, and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Excel and Access reports to track sales performance and KPIs.
Analyze customer-specific retail sales data to support sales and category management.
Evaluate pricing, promotions, product assortment, distribution, and merchandising performance.
Prepare sales reports, historical data, and ad hoc analysis for leadership.
Support sales presentations, business reviews, and strategic planning.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in the CPG industry.
1 2+ years of sales analysis, category analysis, or retail data analytics experience.
Strong Microsoft Excel and Access skills.
Experience with data integration, reporting, and KPI analysis.
Knowledge of retail sales trends, pricing, promotions, and category performance.
Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Health & Beauty Care (HBC) industry experience preferred.
