Job Title: Sales Consultant

Base Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 / year + Commission

About the Role We are seeking a driven and goal-oriented Sales Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business, building long-term relationships with existing clients, and demonstrating how our products solve complex challenges. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, highly competitive, and thrives in an industrial or manufacturing-focused environment.

Role and Responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers through strategic lead generation and targeted outreach.
• Consult with new and existing customers to understand their unique needs and recommend appropriate product solutions.
• Maintain deep product knowledge to clearly communicate features, benefits, and ROI.
• Demonstrate how our products solve customer challenges and improve their daily operations.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements effectively to close sales.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless customer support and satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate contact lists and CRM data, executing consistent follow-up to build long-term relationships.
• Review customer credit status and assist with the collection of outstanding balances when necessary.
• Complete all administrative tasks accurately and on schedule.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current automobile insurance.
• 1–2 years of industry-related sales experience within the distribution or supplier community is preferred.
• Background in industrial, manufacturing, or machinery-related environments is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Goal-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to perform at a high level with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and email communication.
