Sales Executive

A well-established manufacturer of sports safety and protective equipment is looking for an ambitious Business Development Professional to expand relationships with stadiums, arenas, colleges, and universities across the country.

This position combines sales, client relationship management, and project coordination. You’ll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing customer partnerships, and helping guide sports facility projects from the initial conversation through completion. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with customers and industry professionals and has an understanding of construction processes and technical drawings.

Compensation

• $55,000 base salary
• Competitive commission and bonus opportunities

What You’ll Do

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with sports facilities, universities, colleges, and other targeted organizations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key decision-makers.
• Oversee project activities from initial planning through final completion.
• Work closely with customers, contractors, architects, and internal departments to keep projects organized and on schedule.
• Assist with project estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning.
• Use CRM and construction/project management systems to track opportunities and project progress.
• Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support accurate project planning and execution.
• Manage multiple customer accounts and projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining excellent communication.
• Provide regular updates to clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in technical sales, business development, construction, or project coordination.
• Experience developing and maintaining customer relationships.
• Construction industry experience or familiarity with construction processes is preferred.
• Ability to understand and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Experience using Salesforce or another CRM platform.
• Familiarity with construction estimating or project management software is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Comfortable collaborating with customers, contractors, architects, and internal teams.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with a strong interest in growing business opportunities.
