About the Role

Constitution General Agency, a Houston-based managing general agency specializing in Texas nonstandard personal auto insurance, is seeking a Sales Leader to own key vendor, agency, and regulatory-facing responsibilities. This role sits at the center of our carrier, vendor, and independent agency relationships and is critical to keeping our markets running smoothly and our agency partners supported.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Police Reports (CRIS)
- Manage the ordering, tracking, and processing of police reports through the CRIS system in support of claims and underwriting operations.

2. Rate Filings
- Coordinate rate filing activity, including underwriting guideline changes, Texas automobile changes, and preparation of rate filing materials for Redpoint.
- Track pending regulatory items with TDI (e.g., the Mandatory Appraisal Provision) and monitor go-live timelines tied to Redpoint's filings.

3. Vendor Relationships
- Serve as the primary point of contact for CMGA's vendor partners, including Verisk, EOS, LexisNexis, Yellowdog, Redpoint, Copart, Disbursecloud, and CCC.
- Monitor contract renewals — with particular attention to the upcoming Copart and Disbursecloud renewals — and track CMGA fees to identify when adjustments are needed.
- Follow up on pending vendor initiatives (e.g., Verisk Rapa 2.0 and Vehicle History Score, LexisNexis Accurint One, Yellowdog's integration with Oakwood, CCC Automatic Supplements).

4. Independent Agency Relationships
- Lead the setup and onboarding of new independent agency partners.
- Oversee agency compliance requirements and maintain strong ongoing relationships with appointed agencies.

5. Mailing Boxes
- Manage mailing box logistics and related correspondence workflows.

6. EOS COM's
- Ensure EOS COM's are uploaded to OSIS on a monthly basis.

Qualifications
- Texas insurance experience preferred, ideally in nonstandard personal auto or MGA operations
- Strong relationship management skills with vendors and independent agencies
- Familiarity with TDI filings and regulatory processes a plus
- Organized, self-directed, and comfortable owning recurring deadlines
- Texas P&C license (or willingness to obtain)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required
