The ideal candidate must have prior hotel sales experience, with a strong background in Marriott CI/TY and handling incoming group business opportunities.The Sales Manager will be responsible for generating and securing group business, selling guest rooms and meeting space, and building strong relationships with potential clients to drive hotel revenue.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and respond to incoming group sales inquiries and opportunities.Develop and secure group business to meet revenue goals.Sell guest rooms, room blocks, and meeting spaces to corporate groups, associations, and other potential clients.Prepare proposals, negotiate rates, and follow up with prospective clients to convert leads into confirmed business.Utilize Marriott CI/TY to manage and track group opportunities, accounts, and sales activities.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and business partners.Monitor the group sales pipeline and provide regular updates on business opportunities and sales performance.Coordinate with internal hotel departments as needed to ensure a smooth transition of confirmed business.RequirementsPrevious hotel sales experience is required.Marriott CI/TY experience is mandatory.Proven experience handling incoming group opportunities.Strong background in selling guest rooms and meeting space.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Ability to manage multiple sales opportunities and meet revenue targets.Important NoteThis is a sales-focused position. Event management and post-booking event servicing are not required.
