Business Development ManagerDevelop and execute go-to-market strategies focused on targeted industries, customers, and growth opportunities. Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities that align with organisational growth objectives. Build and maintain key customer relationships, strategic partnerships, and industry networks. Represent the business at customer meetings, trade exhibitions, conferences, and industry events. Manage the front end of the sales pipeline by generating and qualifying opportunities. Develop and oversee strategies for an independent sales representative network, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, operations, and leadership teams to support customer engagement and proposal development. Support major customer presentations and contribute to successful commercial outcomes. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform growth strategies. A proven track record of identifying, pursuing, and converting new business opportunities into measurable revenue growth is required. Experience creating and executing business growth plans, market expansion initiatives, and strategic partnership programmes is necessary. Strong relationship-building abilities with customers, channel partners, independent representatives, and industry stakeholders are essential. Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with sales, operations, engineering, and executive leadership teams is required. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and organisational skills are needed. A self-motivated and strategic mindset, with the ability to work independently while influencing key stakeholders, is required.
