About the role
We're looking for a Sales Operations Manager to own the commercial operations relationship for our hyperscaler accounts. This role bridges sales, account management, product management, supply chain, manufacturing operations, logistics, finance, distributors, and the customer directly. It suits someone who has run high-volume order and forecast management for large accounts in a semiconductor manufacturing environment and is comfortable owning both customer and internal relationships and the processes that drive sales team productivity and revenue optimization.
Base salary range is $130,000 - $175,000 a year. The base salary offer will depend on factors such as education, experience, training, skills, qualifications, and location. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, equity and a full range of medical and other benefits.

Responsibilities
Hyperscaler Account Ownership
- Support the commercial operations point of contact for our hyperscaler accounts, managing the relationship end-to-end alongside the Sales account team.
- Administer and own major customer web portals for these accounts - forecasts, purchase orders, VMI (vendor-managed inventory) pulls, and JIT (just-in-time) transactions.
- Prepare materials with hyperscaler procurement and supply chain counterparts, presenting backlog, forecast accuracy, and open action items.
- Assist in resolving escalations, in partnership with senior team members regarding lead-time, delivery issues, and working with Sales to drive resolution directly with the customer.
- Excellent communication skills with the composure to lead a customer escalation calmly and represent the company along with Sales at senior procurement/supply chain reviews.
Order Management & Fulfillment
- Own global purchase order processing from quotation through delivery and invoicing via ERP (NetSuite or equivalent), for high-volume, high-complexity hyperscaler order flows.
- Work directly with CMs and APAC sales team to drive PO closure. Maintain record of shipments vs. customer share award commits.
- Manage the end-to-end RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) process for these accounts, including root-cause coordination with quality and engineering.
- Track and report standard KPIs.
Supply Chain & Factory Coordination
- Partner directly with supply chain management, planners, and manufacturing operations to address product backlog scheduling and align hyperscaler demand against wafer/assembly capacity and allocation decisions.
- Proactively communicate supply constraints or upside opportunities to Sales and the customer, rather than reacting to escalations.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) commercial readiness ahead of production ramp for hyperscaler-specific program requirements.
Compliance & Process Control
- Review incoming commercial POs for pricing accuracy and alignment with revenue recognition policy, SOX compliance, international trade compliance, and ISO protocols.
- Ensure hyperscaler-specific contractual terms (pricing, price protection, audit rights) are correctly reflected in systems and honored operationally.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation for all account-level pricing, forecast, and compliance decisions.
Process Automation & Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline hyperscaler portal workflows; partner with IT to implement automated data extraction, EDI, or API integrations that reduce manual entry and error rates.
- Build and maintain dashboards for bookings, backlog, forecast accuracy, and design-win-to-revenue tracking specific to hyperscaler accounts.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Act as the voice of the hyperscaler customer internally, feeding requirements back into supply chain, product marketing, and engineering.
- Coordinate with Sales and FAEs to keep design-in/design-win tracking accurate for these accounts.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field.
- Five years in sales operations, customer logistics, or supply chain operations within the semiconductor, electronics, or hardware manufacturing industry, including direct experience with large, high-volume accounts.
- Proven experience owning a hyperscaler, OEM, or equivalent strategic account relationship from a commercial operations standpoint - not purely internal-facing.
- Proficiency with major ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics) and CRM platforms (Salesforce or Oracle).
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs, data manipulation) and working knowledge of BI tools (Tableau or Power BI).
- Direct experience with customer portal administration, VMI, and JIT transaction models.
- Working knowledge of SOX, international trade compliance, and ISO process requirements as they apply to commercial order processing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience specifically supporting hyperscaler or large cloud/AI infrastructure accounts.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is highly valued given account and supply chain footprint.
- Experience with EDI and API-based portal integrations.
- Background in demand planning or supply chain in addition to sales operations.
- Track record of scaling sales operations process through a high-growth period.
