We are looking for a skilled and motivated Concrete Sales Representative fortheTampa FLarea.Thissalary-exempt position will report directly totheRegionalSales Manager. The position responsibilities are to sell ready mix concrete and concrete block; develop, analyze, andmaintainmarket intelligence; network, build andmaintaincustomer relationships internally and externally; promotional activities and trade association involvement.
Responsibilities:
Demonstratesa commitment to communicating,improvingand adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
Plans and schedules visits to existing accounts in assigned territory pertimeframeset by the department; suggests products for account toorder, andfacilitates problems to be corrected;establishesand maintains rapport with accounts and client publishersin order tocontinue a positive business relationship for the department.
Prepares action plans and schedules toidentifyspecific targetsand toproject number of contacts to be made; follows up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
Oversees new and existing account services through quality checks and other follow-upas specified per department requirements;identifiesandresolvesclient concerns.
Prepares a variety of status reports, including trends in territory, upcoming events, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals; reports on special developments, information,concernsor feedback gathered through field activity.
Addresses and resolves customer service inquiries,requestsand complaints.
Qualifications:
Qualifications Required Education: Bachelor's/Undergraduate Degree preferred Field of Study Preferred: Marketing, Engineering, Business Required Work Experience: At least 5 years of successful sales and/or business development experience in building materials.
