JOB SUMMARY

The Modern Trade Field Sales Executive executes the Modern Trade sales plan within the assigned territory, ensuring product availability, visibility and promotional compliance while supporting the Area Sales Manager in achieving volume, revenue and market-share objectives.

The role functionally coordinates the merchandisers assigned to the territory, optimizes route plans, and escalates field risks, opportunities and required actions to the Area Sales Manager.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS

• Achieve assigned sales volume, revenue and distribution targets by account and product category.
• Visit stores according to the agreed route plan and maintain productive relationships with store contacts.
• Develop the value of each point of sale by identifying growth opportunities, optimizing assortment, availability and stock levels, and triggering the commercial actions required to accelerate sell-out and prevent out-of-stock situations.
• Ensure correct assortment, shelf presence, pricing, displays and promotional execution in line with company standards.
• Monitor sell-out, competitor activity and market developments, and report opportunities or issues to the Area Sales Manager.
• Functionally coordinate the daily work of dedicated and shared merchandisers assigned to the territory, coach them in the field and escalate execution or performance gaps.
• Support the follow-up of account receivables and help resolve operational customer issues.
• Submit accurate sales, forecast, visit and promotional reports within agreed timelines.

Candidate Profile: Qualifications / Technical Skills

• Qualifications and Experience

Education

Bachelors degree in Sales, Business, Marketing or a related field.

Experience

Min three years of field sales experience, preferably in FMCG and Modern Trade.

Languages

Fluent Arabic and good French. English is an advantage.

Tools

Good command of MS Office.

Mobility

Availability for regular field visits and domestic travel according to business needs.
