Drybar Fredericksburg is hiring an energetic, people‑loving Bartender (front desk + sales). If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy connecting with guests, and love sales, this role is for you.
About the Role
As a Bartender, you are the first and last impression for every guest. You’ll manage check-ins, drive sales, support stylists, and help deliver the signature Drybar experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and manage check-in/check-out
- Educate clients on memberships, add-ons, and styling products
- Drive sales of retail, tools, and memberships
- Manage phones, appointments, and POS transactions
- Support shop flow and assist stylists with timing and client pairing
- Serve complimentary beverages and maintain a fun, bar-like atmosphere
- Maintain cleanliness of the shop and retail displays
- Restock, merchandise, and assist with inventory tasks
- Uphold Drybar standards and core values
- Attend mandatory shop meetings
- Train new Bartenders when assigned
Qualifications
- High-energy, friendly, and people-oriented
- Sales-driven with a goal-focused mindset
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Tech-comfortable; able to use POS systems confidently
- Reliable, punctual, and available on weekends
- Able to stand/walk for 6–8 hour shifts
- Hospitality, retail, or front desk experience preferred (not required)
- Integrity, trustworthiness, and strong problem-solving skills
- Team-oriented with a “can-do” attitude
