Summary:

Supports Savers' vision by providing timely, accurate analysis to enable sound business decisions and to maximize financial performance. Includes supporting the annual budgets, period financial analysis, forecast updates, price and selection analytics, labor and operating expense control and ad-hoc financial analysis. The Senior Financial Analyst reports to the Finance Manager.

Essential Job Functions:

• Analyze areas of financial performance and recommend best practices at the product, store, and market level.
• Act as subject matter expert on P&L, identifying variances and effectively utilizing key metrics to share insights.
• Leverage data to uncover actionable insights to provide support to Field Leadership
• Evaluate production strategies including pricing, assortment, and volume to maximize gross profit
• Develop and maintain routine and ad hoc financial and operating reporting
• Contribute to aspects of the annual budgeting and quarterly forecast processes for retail operations
• Engage with and build complex financial modeling to support ad hoc requests
• Deliver informative, well-organized presentations to leadership
