Schoolwide Positive Behavior Support (PBIS) Aide, LSD (Louisiana School for the Deaf)

This is a full-time 9 month and 8 hours per day position.
Special School District
The Schoolwide Positive Behavior Support (PBIS) Aide plays a critical role in fostering a safe, supportive, and positive school climate aligned with LSD's behavioral expectations and values. This position emphasizes proactive support by building student relationships, modeling appropriate behaviors, reinforcing positive behavior systems, and de-escalating potential conflicts in hallways, playgrounds, cafeterias, and other common areas. The aide supports schoolwide efforts to help students meet behavioral goals before intervention is needed from counseling or administrative staff.
