This role drives product and process improvements supports customer satisfaction and leads cross-functional collaboration to enhance manufacturing performance and quality outcomes.Summary of ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance and provide leadership for safety quality and environmental standards.Collaborate effectively within a team environmentdemonstratingclear and concise communication skills.Provide metallurgical and technical support for product and process improvement through data analysis problem solvingexpertiseinareaof responsibility metallurgical and mechanical concepts and knowledge of customer operations and markets.Meet with representatives of customers processors to provide innovative solutions to quality and reliability issues andprovidescustomers withtimelywarranty solutions.Drive reduction and improve flow velocity by managing the disposition of distressed materialin accordance withcustomer requirements internal standards and businessobjectives.Recommendnew technologyto satisfy changing customer and marketplace demands.Lead team activities within order design and order entry systems including approving new orders defining product capabilities improving existing processes and managing product trials.Deliver technical solutions to internal and external stakeholders byleveraginga strong understanding of manufacturing processes and product capabilities.Collaborate cross-functionally withoperations engineering maintenance and other technical teams to achieve performance goals.Assist with Quality Systems Management tasksto support A2LA and IATF certifications.Other duties as assigned.MinimumQualificationsBachelors degree in Metallurgicalor Material ScienceMinimum of 6 years of experience in manufacturing processes.Interpersonal skills and the ability tooperateeffectively within a team-oriented fast-paced environment.Demonstratedproficiencyincommunication verbal and written analyticalthinking organization and time management.Preferred QualificationsPreviousmanagerial experience in an industrial or related environment.10 yearsof experience with manufacturing processes.Experience in materials manufacturingpreferably inthemetalsindustry.Minimum of 5 years of product inspection experience and familiarity with external customer requirements.Proven ability to drive results across multiple departments.Relocationassistancemay be considered for highly qualified candidates from outside the local area.The salary range for this role is 100000to 140000.
