Location: Dallas, TX

Pay: $90,000–$115,000 annually (bonus eligible)

Work Schedule:

• Hybrid schedule (On-Site Tuesday and Wednesdays)

Job Description:

The Security Engineer will play a key role in protecting cloud-based collaboration tools and enterprise applications, with a primary focus on Microsoft technologies. This position involves hands-on work to enhance system security, enforce governance standards, and ensure data protection across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in Microsoft cloud environments and is comfortable balancing security priorities with business functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain security features across Microsoft 365 and related cloud platforms
• Establish and enforce policies for identity management, access permissions, and data governance
• Strengthen security controls within collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Teams, and Power Platform
• Assist with detecting, investigating, and resolving security incidents
• Partner with infrastructure and application teams to improve overall risk posture
• Monitor system activity and recommend enhancements to security practices
• Support ongoing development of security standards and compliance measures

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in a security engineering or cybersecurity-focused role
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 environments
• Working knowledge of Azure security services and concepts
• Understanding of identity and access management principles
