Description
Position Summary: Patrols casino premises and/or guards casino posts to maintain safety and security; prevent underage gambling and casino floor access, protect assets and ensure observance of applicable laws and casino regulations.

Assists guests by providing directions to property amenities. Escorts guests to the location when appropriate
Completes ServSafe alcohol training and follows department policies on handling intoxicated guests
Assists in the execution of emergency procedures as directed by security leadership
Performs specific security duties as outlined by the Security Department policies and procedures to ensure the protection of all company assets as well as the safety and welfare of guests and team members
Responds to all medical related incidents on the property while providing outstanding guest service
Assists Security EMTs in administering First AID / CPR
Conducts escorts (money, personnel, and vendors)
Respond to requests for assistance in cases of physical altercations, accidents, theft, or other disturbances or emergencies
Reports suspicious or unusual activity to security leadership
Gathers information necessary for preparing security incident reports / investigations
Documents a complete and thorough investigation of incidents
Ensures department compliance by making all necessary and proper notifications
Requests to see identification from all visitors who appear 30 years old or younger
Follows department Standard Operating Procedures regarding the process of verifying identification
Verifies patrons' identifications to prevent those under the age of 21 from gaining access to the gaming floor
Maintains the highest level of vigilance at casino entrances and does not allow themselves to become distracted
Handles situations with a sense of compassion and maintaining confidentiality of security-related incidents
Handles sensitive guest matters with the utmost level of professionalism
Resolves guest issues using all available resources
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or security field preferred
High School diploma or equivalent
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Able to handle stressful situations dealing with the general public
Ability to work in an environment, which may be noisy
Knowledge in various computer programs including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
Ability to communicate with team members and guests
Ability to be a TEAM player
Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process
Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
Working Conditions:
