Security Specialist

This position starts at $21.00/hour and goes up to $27.00/hour depending on experience. This position will join our Market of Choice Loss Prevention Team. As a Security Specialist, the ideal candidate will be familiar with the operations/implementation of general security functions, will have previous customer service experience and will focus on employee and customer safety.DUTIESAs a Security Specialist, some of your job duties will include:Act as a visual deterrent for criminal activity in the storePartner with Store Management to determine the safest approach in dealing with criminal activity or disruptions in the businessHave the ability to de-escalate tense confrontations through the use of superior customer serviceObserve and report unsafe activities and conditionsHelp create a pleasant in-store atmosphere for our customersImplement store policies and keep secure recordsPerform tasks as directed by the Loss Prevention departmentQUALIFICATIONS Required:Valid OR drivers license and reliable transportationProfessional, courteous, and calm attitudeExcellent observation and planning skillsAbility to think clearly under pressureStrong verbal and written communication skillsBasic knowledge of local & state laws18 years or olderPreferred Qualifications:Proficiency using MS OfficePreference will be given to applicants with previous experience in securityApplicants must be available for weekends, after hours, and occasional out of town and overnight work.For more information, or to apply now, you must go to the website below.
