The Staff Pad is partnering with a global leader in fine art logistics to hire a Senior Account Manager in Chicago. This is a high-impact role for an experienced professional who can manage complex client relationships, oversee logistics projects, and drive revenue growth.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-touch environment, can confidently manage high-value clients, and brings strong experience in logistics—especially within fine art, interior design, or luxury services.

If you’re commercially minded, highly organized, and able to lead both clients and internal teams—this is a great opportunity to step into a strategic, leadership-level position.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value client accounts
  • Build long-term client relationships and act as a trusted advisor
  • Manage complex logistics projects from quote through execution and billing
  • Oversee domestic and international shipments, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
  • Prepare and manage:
    • Shipping documents
    • Bills of lading (BOLs)
    • Pack notes and project documentation
  • Coordinate across internal teams (operations, warehouse, leadership) to ensure seamless execution
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Support pricing strategy, quoting, and margin management
  • Monitor account performance, profitability, and revenue growth
  • Act as escalation point for client issues and operational challenges
  • Ensure compliance with all shipping and regulatory requirements

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Mentor and support junior Account Managers
  • Lead by example in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Collaborate closely with leadership on key accounts and strategy
  • Drive communication across teams to ensure projects stay on track
  • Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • 3–7+ years of experience in:
    • Logistics, account management, or project management
    • Fine art logistics, interior design logistics, or related industries
  • Strong experience managing shipments and logistics documentation
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills across clients, vendors, and internal teams
  • Experience using CRM or logistics systems (HubSpot or similar)
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams

Preferred:

  • Experience working for a competitor or adjacent industry
  • Familiarity with international shipping and compliance requirements
  • Experience mentoring or leading junior team members

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced, team-driven Chicago office and warehouse environment
  • Collaborative culture with close coordination across departments
  • High level of client interaction and project ownership
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing project demands

Why This Role

This is a great opportunity to join a globally respected company and take ownership of high-value client relationships and complex logistics projects. You’ll work in a collaborative, fast-moving environment where your ability to execute, communicate, and lead will directly impact business growth and client success.
