Salary: $85,000 – $105,000 DOE

As the company continues to grow, they're looking for a Senior Accountant who can help strengthen financial operations while partnering with project teams and leadership.

This is more than a traditional accounting role. You'll work closely with operations, project managers, and executive leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting while supporting the success of active construction projects.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Accountant, you'll oversee key accounting functions, support project accounting, and help drive accurate financial reporting. This role offers the opportunity to influence business decisions, improve processes, and contribute to the continued growth of a respected construction company.

What You'll Do

• Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations

• Prepare financial statements, work-in-progress (WIP) schedules, and project cost reports

• Monitor job costs, contract billings, retainage, and project profitability

  
  
• 
  

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and audit preparation

  
  
• 
  

• Partner with project managers and leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting and operational performance

What We're Looking For

• 
  

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA is a plus

  
  
• 
  

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in construction or project-based accounting

  
  
• 
  

• Strong understanding of WIP reporting, job costing, percentage-of-completion accounting, and month-end close

  
  
• 
  

• Proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting software such as Sage, CMiC, Foundation, or Viewpoint preferred
