Position Overview:
The company is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will play a role in maintaining the company's financial operations.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.
Provide financial analysis on data trends and present actionable recommendations to management.
Assist in creating financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Support external audits by collaborating with auditors and preparing documentation as needed.
Identify opportunities to enhance accounting systems, processes, and internal controls for improved efficiency and accuracy.
Stay informed on changes to healthcare industry regulations and accounting standards to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
3-5 years of corporate accounting experience.
CPA designation or prior experience in public accounting is highly desirable.
In-depth knowledge of GAAP and experience with financial reporting and compliance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems.
Compensation:
Competitive salary based on experience. (Up to $90,000)
