Senior Accountant

Position Summary

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to play a key role in financial reporting, month-end close, operational accounting, and continuous process improvement initiatives. This position will partner closely with accounting and operational leadership to ensure the accuracy of financial information while driving improvements in reporting, systems, and business processes.

What You'll Do

• Lead month-end close activities and support efforts to improve close efficiency and reporting timelines.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and monthly reporting packages.
• Partner with operations teams to ensure costs are accurately captured and properly reflected in financial results.
• Support annual and interim audit activities, including data preparation, reconciliations, and audit requests.
• Develop and enhance financial reporting processes by transitioning manual reporting activities into more efficient digital solutions.
• Create, track, and analyze key operational and financial performance metrics.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and lead initiatives to increase efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants on reporting, analytics, and system enhancement projects.
• Support business intelligence and reporting initiatives, including dashboard development and data analysis.
• Assist with financial systems implementations, upgrades, and optimization efforts.
• Lead fixed asset accounting activities, including implementation, tracking, reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and business improvement opportunities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
• Provide insights and recommendations to accounting and operational leadership.
• Serve as a key resource in driving continuous improvement across accounting processes, reporting structures, and financial systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, and leadership teams to support organizational goals and decision-making.
